What changes the price
Three things move the number. Vehicle size: a compact SUV or pickup adds $40, and a 3rd-row SUV, van, or XL truck adds $65 for the extra time and product. Condition: heavy pet hair ($45), deep stains ($40), beach sand, or extreme buildup may need an add-on or a longer booking. Protection level: a wax-and-seal is included, but a 6-month or 3-year ceramic coating costs more because it lasts far longer.
Coastal cars in cities like Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, and Manhattan Beach often need iron decontamination or sand removal that an inland car wouldn't, so a beach-city detail can run slightly higher than the base price.
Is mobile detailing more expensive than a shop?
No. The price is about the same as a fixed-location detail shop. What you save is the trip, the drop-off, and the waiting room. Daji brings a 50-gallon water tank and an on-board generator, so there is no surcharge for coming to you, and you don't have to be home as long as the car is accessible.

If you keep one car clean year-round, the Maintenance Detail is the cheapest path: $199 per visit any time the car has had an inside-and-out detail within the last 3 weeks, so staying on a regular schedule keeps every visit at the lowest rate. First-time clients also get 10% off their first detail.
