What is the difference between a car wash and an exterior detail?+
A car wash rinses the surface. The $120 Classic Exterior Bath decontaminates the paint, removes bonded bugs and tar, cleans inside the wheel wells and barrels, and finishes with a wax and seal. It protects, not just cleans.
Will this remove water spots and swirl marks?+
Light water spots, yes. Etched water spots, swirl marks, and oxidation need a clay bar ($100) or a one-step polish ($199). Two-step polish for deeper defects is $299. We'll look at your paint and tell you which it actually needs.
How often should I get an exterior detail near the coast?+
Salt air off the South Bay coast pulls protection off clear coat fast. Every 4 to 6 weeks keeps the seal intact. Pair it with a 6-month ceramic coating ($100 add-on) and you stretch that out a lot.
What happens if it rains on my appointment?+
We watch the forecast and text you the night before if rain is coming. Light coastal mist is fine because we work under your garage, carport, or any covered spot. Heavy rain gets a free reschedule to the next clear day.
Do you need my water or electricity?+
No. The truck carries a 50-gallon water tank and a generator. We detail anywhere with curb access: driveway, street, office lot, or marina. You don't have to be home as long as the car is unlocked or you leave a key.
Do bigger vehicles cost more?+
Yes. Listed prices are for standard cars. A compact pickup or SUV adds $20. A 3rd-row SUV, van, or XL truck adds $45. That covers the extra time and product, nothing hidden.
How do I pay, and is there a first-time deal?+
Booking takes a small deposit to lock the slot. The balance — cash, Zelle, Venmo, or card — is due after the detail's finished and you've looked the car over. First-time clients get 20% off — just mention it when you book.
Which cities do you cover?+
Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, El Segundo, Torrance, Rancho Palos Verdes, Lomita, San Pedro, Long Beach, Del Aire, Lawndale, Hawthorne, Signal Hill, Rolling Hills, Palos Verdes Estates, and Harbor City. Just outside that line? Text us. We make exceptions for repeat clients.
How soon can you detail my car in Lawndale?+
Same-day or next-day appointments are typical across 90260. Booking takes a small deposit to lock the slot, and we text a confirmation right after you book. Weekends fill first, so if you commute on weekdays, an evening or weekend spot is worth grabbing early.
Do I need to be home for my Lawndale appointment?+
No. The truck is self-contained with a 50-gallon water tank and generator, so we just need access to the car. Leave a key or unlock it, and we text before-and-after photos. Payment is due after you've looked it over, by cash, Zelle, Venmo, or card.
Will the inland sun fade or crack my dashboard parked in Lawndale?+
It can. Lawndale gets less marine layer than the beach cities, so the sun hits dashboards and seats harder through the windshield. We treat the dash, vents, and trim with a UV-safe protectant on every interior job to slow the fading and keep the plastic from drying out and cracking.
