A standard car detail takes about 2 hours for a standalone interior or exterior, and roughly 3.5 hours for a full inside-and-out detail. The Masterpiece Inside & Out runs about 4.5 hours, and a full Polish & Ceramic Coating takes 6 to 8 hours because multi-stage paint correction can't be rushed. SUVs, trucks, and heavily soiled cars run a little longer.

What makes a detail take longer
Size and condition are the big variables. A 3rd-row SUV or XL truck adds time over a sedan. Heavy pet hair, ground-in beach sand, deep stains, or paint that needs correction all extend the booking. Add-ons like a 330°F steam clean or stain extraction add 15 to 30 minutes each. We give you an accurate window when you book so you can plan your day.
Do you have to be there the whole time?
No. The truck carries its own water and power, so once we have access to the car you can go about your day, work, errands, or stay home, your call. We text before-and-after photos and you pay after you've looked the car over.
Frequently asked
How long does a full detail take?+
About 3.5 hours for the full inside-and-out Seasonal Detail on a standard car, and about 4.5 hours for the Masterpiece. Larger or dirtier vehicles run longer.
Can you detail my car the same day?+
Same-day or next-day appointments are typical across the South Bay. Booking takes a small deposit to lock the slot, and we confirm the time by text.
Why does ceramic coating take so long?+
The Polish & Ceramic package includes multi-stage machine polishing to correct the paint before the coating goes on. That correction work, plus cure time for the coat, is why it runs 6 to 8 hours.
